Maintenance Repair Planner

TeamBuilders is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Repair Planner to join a food processing facility in Fresno, CA.


The Maintenance Repair Planner will provide direct support to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventative maintenance inspections, equipment repairs and rebuilds, reporting & filing the proper documentation for inspections and repairs including all PSM/RMP, CalARB and OSHA related paperwork as well as implementing and managing parts inventory tracking and parts ordering through the PO software program.


The Maintenance Repair Planner position is being offered on a full-time, temp to hire basis (will become permanent), Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with some overtime as required. Company offers an excellent benefits package and competitive pay rate of up to $25.00 per hour to start, DOE.  


The Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Repair Planner to Include:

  • Schedule routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) interventions (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.)
  • Assign Mechanics with assistance and direction from the Maintenance Manager
  • Collect, review, order necessary parts per the PM guidelines and file completed documentation in accordance with all applicable agency requirements
  • Schedule all safety related PM’s (with guidance from the Maintenance Manager) per applicable state and Federal regulations (PSM/RMP, OSHA, CalARB, etc.)
  • Implement and maintain spare parts inventory and accountability plan
  • Order parts as necessary for stock replenishment, emergency repairs and planned maintenance interventions
  • Assign work orders to mechanics with Maintenance Manager guidance and priority
  • Maintain maintenance data to analyze plant maintenance costs and costs per piece of equipment
  • Other related duties as assigned and necessary



The Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications for the Maintenance Repair Planner:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an MRO Clerk or similar role handling the duties listed along with a High School Diploma is required
  • Previous experience within a Food Processing facility is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office; Word, Excel & Outlook in addition to ERP/PO Software programs is required
  • Must have superior attention to detail and be highly organized
  • Professional communication skills; Verbal, Interpersonal and Written
  • Excellent project planning, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations (PSM/RMP, OSHA, CalARB, etc.)
