Reservations Coordinator

TeamBuilders Employment & Business Solutions is hiring for a Reservations Coordinator to join a growing travel agency in Fresno, CA.

 

 

The Reservations Coordinator position is a vital role within the travel agency’s call center and is the first point of contact for travelers who are making travel reservation. Within this role, you will assist callers with making travel reservations while simultaneously providing exceptional customer service over the phone and documenting all details within the database.

 

 

The ideal candidate for the Reservations Coordinator role will come with at least 2 years’ experience within a call center customer service environment, be able to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and outstanding customer relations skills. The company will provide industry related training but if you have previous experience handling travel coordination and/or reservations, that would be ideal.

 

 

The Reservations Coordinator position is being offered on an onsite, full-time, temp to hire basis (will become permanent) and the hours are Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. The company offers a benefits package, Paid Time Off, opportunities for advancement and an excellent work environment. The starting pay range is $16.50 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

 

 

The Daily Responsibilities of the Reservations Coordinator to Include:

  • Answering all incoming calls within a call center environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service to callers
  • Assisting travelers with creating travel reservations including flights, hotels, transportation, cruises, excursions and activities
  • Obtaining all necessary documentation from passengers such as Passport, Identification and any related reservation details previously coordinated
  • Data entry of travel reservations within industry software
  • Creating travel itineraries & documents for passengers
  • Auditing all travel reservations to ensure accuracy
  • Additional related duties as necessary such as filing, obtaining documentation, etc.

 

 

The Required Skills & Experience of the Reservations Coordinator:

  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience performing customer service within a call center environment
  • A high level of accuracy in Data Entry
  • Professional communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
  • Impeccable attention to detail, time management, organizational and customer relations skills
  • Ability to be on phones for entire shift
  • Desire to provide an exceptional experience for travelers
